Chevrolet Bolt EV concept
Opel and Vauxhall are reportedly considering plans to sell a rebadged version of the Chevrolet Bolt.
According to sources who spoke to Automotive News Europe, the companies are currently exploring the prospects of offering the Bolt in Europe but only expect it to sell in small numbers - at least initially.
While that doesn't sound too promising, Opel CEO Karl-Thomas Neumann has previously stated the company will offer a new electric vehicle by the end of 2018. Previous reports have suggested the model would be based on the Karl but insiders disputed this claim to Automotive News Europe as they said a Karl-based EV would be too expensive for minicar buyers.
