Could get more than 127 bhp

Hungarian independent artist X-Tomi Design decided to render
a hotter version of the Honda
S660.

There is a report backing up this speculative render as
Australian media revealed last week Honda does indeed plan a more potent
version of the Japan-only S660 which will be commercialized worldwide. Apparently
it will drop the tiny 660cc engine and adopt a larger 1.0-liter turbo delivering
in excess of 126 bhp (95 kW) to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual.

The model in question is believed to receive the S1000
moniker and will come with a wider and more aggressive body as depicted in this
render. An engineer working at Honda has already confirmed the engine bay is
large enough to accommodate a larger 1.0-liter while another one said they can
widen the rear axle and tread by 60mm which would accommodate chunkier tires for more grip to match the added oomph.

If everything goes according to plan, the Honda S1000
(without Type R suffix) will be out sometime next year.
