Ferrari 599XX Evolution Delivered to Google Executive




Google executive Benjamin Sloss had the winning bid of 1.4 ($1.8 / 1.1) million for a Ferrari 599XX that was auctioned off to support earthquake victims in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy. Ferrari delivered the 599XX Evo to Sloss at a special ceremony in Monza. Also at the ceremony was Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo as well as Formula 1 drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa.



The car is based on the 599 GTB Fiorano with the same transaxle layout and engine type, it’s a prototype and an extreme track car. The 599XX Evo features an aerodynamic styling package, lightweight components and a 6.0 liter V12 engine that produces 750hp and 700Nm of torque.

It comes with slick tyres (29/67 R19 front and 31/71 R19 rear) specifically developed to maximise cornering stability and increase lateral acceleration. It also gets 19x11J rims at the front and 19x12J at the rear improving aerodynamics and cooling of the brakes, Ferrari’s engineers used F1-derived ‘doughnuts’, which partly cover the brake discs and wheel rims.
