2013 Renault-Samsung SM3 - low res - 31.8.2012
Could preview the facelifted Renault Fluence
Renault-Samsung has released the first details about the 2013 SM3, ahead of its launch in September.
Looking significantly improved, the model features a new front bumper with a prominent grille and restyled headlights. Since the car is essentially a rebadged Renault Fluence, we can expect the changes will carryover to its European counterpart.
Inside, there's a digital instrument cluster, an electronic parking brake and a "SMart Connect" infotainment system with GPS navigation.
Engine options remain a mystery, but the model will apparently offer a 1.6-liter engine that is connected to a new continuously variable transmission. It promises to deliver best-in-class fuel efficiency.
