Lamborghini Murcielago SuperVeloce accident in Shenzhen / globalcarwanted

Only 186 cars ever made

A rare white Lamborghini Murcielago SuperVeloce has been severely damaged in a crash occurred in China.

Details are scarce at the moment but judging by the severity of the impact chances are it was a high-speed crash as the supercar's front end was completely destroyed and the right side wheels are not in their normal position. The accident happened this week on the streets of Shenzhen in China and it's not known whether other cars were involved.

We remind you Lamborghini originally wanted to build 350 units of the Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce but they changed their minds and stopped production after assembling 186 units. Shortly after that, Lamborghini started making the necessary preparations to get the assembly line ready for the Aventador.

It was only yesterday when the Murcielago SV's successor, the Aventador SV, was spotted in Italy ahead of what will probably be an official launch in the second half of 2015.
