Toyota introduces an 850+ bhp Camry Sleeper at SEMA

Should run the quarter-mile in 9.8 seconds

Toyota has an unveiled the Camry Sleeper at the SEMA Motor Show.

While the exterior looks like the standard production model, it's just a shell which can be lifted to reveal a purpose-built dragster.

Toyota was coy on specifications but the model features a tubular chassis and production-style alloy wheels with drag racing tires. The car also has a Tundra-sourced 5.7-liter V8 engine which has been equipped with a TRD supercharger and a wet nitrous system. This enables the car to produce over 850 bhp (633 kW) and run the quarter-mile in an estimated 9.8 seconds.
