Says CT6 will be priced in the $70k range

Cadillac President Johann de Nysschen has revealed the company could launch a Rolls-Royce Ghost competitor by 2030.

Speaking to Reuters, de Nysschen said "It is too early today for a $250,000 Cadillac" but "fifteen years from now, it won't be."

That's far more expensive than today's models but Cadillac is already trying to move up market. In particular, de Nysschen suggested the CT6 will be priced in the $70,000 range.

In previously interviews, he also confirmed a new range-topping model that will go head-to-head with long-wheelbase versions of the Audi A8, BMW 7-Series and Mercedes S-Class. That particular car is slated to be launched by 2020 and could be called either the CT8 or CT9.
