BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition revealed with visual tweaks

BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition

Limited to 23 units

Following a teaser released a couple of days ago, BMW has unveiled the limited-run M4 DTM Champion Edition.

In 2012, BMW triumphed in DTM with Bruno Spengler and decided to celebrate with a special M3 Coupe DTM Champion Edition and now they are doing it again with an M4 after Marco Wittmann's success in the 2014 season. Production will be capped at 23 units as a reference to the #23 number on the winning racecar and all units will feature an Alpine White body.

Tweaked by BMW Individual, the special edition M4 will be distinguished by a stripe design on the hood, black character lines and an M kidney grille with orange surrounds. It features 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels, CFRP roof and comes with black front splitter and carbon front flaps along with a black side skirt blade and carbon mirror caps.

Other enhancements include the carbon rear spoiler and diffuser insert while inside the cabin there's Marco Wittmann's autograph on the door sill plates and carbon trim strips. The list of changes goes on with an M Performance handbrake lever wrapped in Alcantara, serial number on the dashboard and an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel.

Additional details can be found in the attached press release.
