2015 Skoda Fabia Combi

Debuts this week in Paris

The first official images with the 2015 Skoda Fabia Combi have surfaced the Internet ahead of a full reveal set for later this week at Paris Motor Show.

Looking exactly like you would expect, the more practical version of the third generation Fabia largely borrows the hatchback's design but with a longer rear overhang to grant a more spacious trunk. We already know the car is 90mm wider and 31mm lower in comparison to the outgoing model and will offer a luggage capacity that will surely exceed the 505-liter trunk provided by the Fabia Combi II.

It will be available with a range of three- and four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines meeting Euro 6 emissions standards. The base gasoline unit is a three-cylinder 1.0-liter MPI rated at 60 HP (44 kW) while at the other end of the spectrum is a four-cylinder 1.2-liter TSI developing 110 HP (81 kW). On the diesel side, there’s a four-cylinder 1.4-liter with 75 HP (55 kW) and 105 HP (77 kW). Sometime in 2015, the 75 HP variant will be installed in a more economical GreenLine derivative which will also pack a start/stop system and kinetic energy recuperation.

The 2015 Skoda Fabia Combi will be introduced on October 2 during the first press day of the Paris Motor Show.
