Range Rover by Arden
Gains an extra 120 Nm
German tuner Arden has released an upgrade package for the Range Rover equipped with the V8 5.0-liter supercharged engine.
In its standard configuration, the eight cylinder engine delivers a more than enough 510 HP (375 kW) and 625 Nm (461 lb-ft) of torque but that hasn't stopped Arden from tweaking the motor to squeeze an additional 138 HP (101 kW) and 120 Nm (89 lb-ft). The added oomph was possible by installing a custom supercharger made from high-alloyed aluminum along with a remapped ECU and a specially developed exhaust system boasting a sport catalytic converter.
As a result of these changes, the Range Rover V8 Supercharged is capable of delivering 650 HP (478 kW) and 745 Nm (549 lb-ft). The upgrade package also includes lifting the electronic top speed limiter from 225 km/h (140 mph) to 260 km/h (161.5 mph) and there’s also a full body kit along with a couple of 22-inch alloy wheel designs.
There's no word about the acceleration performance from a standstill but the tuned Range Rover V8 Supercharged by Arden should be a tad quicker than the standard model which needs 5.1 seconds to sprint form 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h).
