Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce sprint test [video]

Runs to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds

German magazine Auto
Bild
had the chance to conduct a sprint test with a near-production Lamborghini
Aventador Superveloce prototype.

Described by Lamborghini as being their most emotional production model ever made, the recently introduced Aventador SV has lost 50 kg
and gained 50 HP compared to the "regular" LP 700-4. As a result, the supercar from
Sant'Agata is now able to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in only 2.8 seconds,
thus making it 0.1s quicker than before.

It's not only lighter and quicker than before, but also 150
percent more aerodynamic and can generate a downforce 170 percent higher than
the Aventador also helped by the added rear wing. It gets unique 20-inch front
& 21-inch rear alloys shod in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires and stops efficiently
thanks to standard carbon ceramic discs.

Lamborghini has already announced they will start selling
the 327,190 Aventador Superveloce by the end of this spring.
