Car of the Year 2014
Tesla Model S included
The jury for Car of the Year 2014 has announced 30 candidates who will battle for the award.
There are 58 members representing 22 European countries, with national representation on the jury corresponding to the country's car market size and its importance in car manufacturing. Back in March they selected the Volkswagen Golf VII as Car of the Year 2013 and now they have published a 30-entry list with the candidates for next year's award.
The 30 models are new vehicles already on sale or will be before the end of the year in at least five European countries. Another condition these cars have to meet is to have a minimum of 5,000-unit foreseeable annual sales.
