2012 Nissan Quest
Families in the market for a reasonably-priced new minivan may find a lot to like in the seven-passenger 2012 Nissan Quest, which the automaker has priced from $27,750.
This year's Quest is available in four different models: S, SV, SL, and top-of-the-line LE. Each is powered by the 260-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine paired with the Nissan Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). Fuel economy for this pairing is rated at 19 mpg city/24 mpg highway.
Key available features on the 2012 Nissan Quest include one-touch power sliding doors, second- and third-row fold-flat seats, an advanced climate control system, and standard permanent hidden storage. All Quests come with the Nissan Intelligent Key, which allows drivers to enter the vehicle and start it without removing the key from pocket or purse. A power liftgate is standard on SL and LE.
A key safety feature, the Blind Spot Warning (BSW) system is available, part of the Nissan Safety Shield. BSW is standard on the top trim level Quest LE.
One new exterior color is available this year, Super Black. Also new this year and standard on Quest SV and SL models is XM Satellite Radio (XM subscription required, sold separately).
Pricing for the other 2012 Nissan Quest models begins at $31,050 for SE, $34,500 for SL, and $41,350 for LE.
