The Nissan GT-R proved once again what an amazing car it is. A model specially developed by Topspeed Motorsports - no relation - broke another record at Road Atlanta. With Leh Keen behind the wheel the sports car managed an awesome lap time of 1:23.8. This does not represent just a new Road Atlanta record for a GT-R, but also a new National Auto Sport Association (NASA) TTR-class record.
Topspeed Motorsports did not announce what model was used for this new record, but we do know the tuner is indeed developing some amazing models. For example, one of its GT-Rs delivers an amazing 1,019 horsepower. In order to obtain this amazing update the tuner installed a new AMS Alpha10 turbo kit and a new GTC Ti exhaust system. The engine received new Carrillo pistons and connecting rods, new fuel injectors, and intake.
While we are waiting to learn what model was used for this new record, all we can say is enjoy the video!
