Kawasaki's VN1700 Voyager Custom is equipped with a long-stroke, liquid cooled, SOHC, 8-valve 1,700 cm3 V-Twin engine that rewards you with a maximum output of 73 PS at 5,000 rpm and a peak torque of 136 Nm at 2,750 rpm. Like the standard version, the Custom model features a fully electronic throttle actuation system which enables the ECU to control the volume of both the fuel (via fuel injectors) and the air (via throttle valves) delivered to the engine.

Other features of the Custom model include a short-style smoked wind deflector, a muscular front cowling, chromed headlamp cover, louvre-style fog lamp covers and generous side Bags. Furthermore, there is also a high-spec audio system which features twin 40 W speakers, radio and compatibility with an iPod, XM tuner or CB radio unit.

Another useful feature offered for the 2012 Kawasaki VN1700 Voyager Custom is the Electronic Cruise Control which can be conveniently controlled from the right handle. The system can be activated between 47 km/h and 137 km/h in 3rd gear or above.
