Bentley has announced plans to stage the North American debut of the Continental GT3-R at Pebble Beach.

Drawing inspiration from the Continental GT3 race car, the road-going GT3-R features a Glacier White exterior with green graphics. The model also has an aerodynamic body kit, gloss black accents and 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels.

Moving on to the interior, there's leather / Alcantara sport seats, carbon fiber trim and green accents. The rear seat has also been removed as part of weight saving regimen which helps the car weigh 220 lbs (99.7 kg) less than the standard model.

Power is provided by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that produces 572 bhp (426 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enables the coupe to run from 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds before topping out at 170 mph (273 km/h).

Only 99 Continental GT3-Rs will be headed to the United States and pricing starts at $337,000. The company is currently accepting orders and the first deliveries are scheduled for the first quarter of 2015.
