Hard work to prepare vital tests
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has released a video about all the preparations necessary to organize a crash test.
As you can see in this video the engineers from IIHS' Vehicle Research Center have a lot on their plate to fully organize a crash test that will provide the necessary results to establish the safeness of a car. While the test itself lasts only a few seconds, it takes a tremendous amount of work to properly set up the crash.
