 BMW M235i Cabrio rendered

RM Design has digitally imagined a convertible version of the recently introduced 2014 BMW M235i Coupe.

Earlier today we posted a render of a range-topping BMW M2 and now we bring some digital interpretations of an M235i Cabrio. The renders were developed by Remco Meulendijk from Holland who envisioned the car with a soft top, unlike the 4-Series Cabrio which was fitted by BMW with a metal roof.

If there will be such a model, it will likely borrow the coupe's inline-six 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine outputting 326 HP (240 kW) and 322 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque. Due to the slightly increased curb weight, the cabrio should be a tad slower in the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) than its fixed roof counterpart which accomplishes this task in 4.8s with the optional eight-speed auto or in 5 seconds with the standard six-speed manual gearbox.
