Switzerlands Sex-Drive in has been hailed a success
Switzerland is known for their banks and chocolate but their new 'sex drive thru' is being hailed as a success following a yearlong experiment.
Originally introduced last year in Zürich, the 'sex drive thru' consists of wooden 'sex boxes' that enable customers to visit prostitutes with ease of getting a Big Mac. An average of 15 prostitutes work at the drive thru on a nightly basis and they are permitted and pay to use the facility.
While the idea sounds crazy in many parts of the world, the city says "The new regulation of street prostitution has attained its objectives of protecting the population and the sex workers." Zurich social services went on to say "The first year of the service has been positive."
Unfortunately, not everyone is happy as the prostitutes are complaining they're too far from bars and nightclubs and their earnings are down.
