Volvo S60L T6 Twin Engine

Volvo has announced plans to introduce the S60L T6 Twin Engine at the Shanghai Auto Show.



Set to go on sale in China on April 22nd, the model features a plug-in hybrid powertrain that consists of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Drive-E engine, an electric motor and an 11.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.  This setup enables the model to produce a combined maximum output of 306 PS (225 kW) and 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) of torque.



Detailed performance specifications were not released, but Volvo says the model will have an electric only range of 53 km (32.9 miles). When the battery is depleted, it can be recharged in as little as 3.5 hours.
