Jeremy Clarkson's highly publicized "fracas" incident is coming to a close as the North Yorkshire police have stopped their investigation into the altercation that ultimately led to the firing of the famed Top Gear presenter.

According to a police spokesperson who spoke to The Guardian, "Last week, the person at the center of the incident, Mr Tymon, said that he did not wish the police to take action on his behalf. However, at that point we still needed to speak to some members of the public who were present at the time of the incident, who had been affected by the event, and whose views also needed to be considered. Now that all the interviews are complete, we have properly established that there is no need for further police action."

Clarkson's future remains unclear but speculation suggests the lack of charges will open the door to a number of new possibilities including a show on ITV or Netflix.
