The new Mercedes CLA is having unimaginable success, and the company was forced to double production to meet the demand around the globe. We are talking about the standard version here, of course, but we're pretty sure that the AMG version will enjoy the same success.
With a price of under $50k, the new CLA 45 AMG will be pretty much the only Mercedes that will allow the "average" customer to enter the world of high-performance sedans.
In the latest review made by Drive's Mike Musto, he wants to see if the CLA 45 AMG is indeed the sports sedan Mercedes brags about. The test was performed at the Chuckwalla Valley Raceway in California.
As a reminder, the CLA 45 AMG is powered by an AMG-built, 2.0-liter, turbo engine that delivers a total of 360 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and up to a top speed of 155 mph.
