2015 Volkswagen Touareg facelift
Goes on sale this summer
Volkswagen has released images and details with the 2015 Touareg facelift slated to be unveiled on Sunday at the Beijing Motor Show.
The German marque is keeping busy these days in New York with the facelifted Jetta and the Golf TDI SportWagen and has decided to exhibit the Touareg facelift at the Beijing Motor Show which opens its doors this Sunday. As the images show, we are dealing with subtle changes of both front and rear fascias along with bigger bi-xenon headlights on all versions, a standard coasting function along with updates inside such as new leather hues and white illumination for controls.
The 2015 Volkswagen Touareg V6 TDI-powered versions have also gained a standard automatic post-collision braking system. The European-spec V6 TDI benefits from a new catalytic convertor and is now a Euro 6-compliant engine. Other novelties include the addition of online services like Google Earth, Street View and “Online traffic information."
Volkswagen has announced the revised Touareg will start hitting dealerships this summer.
